Description
Wayne Horvitz, piano; Ron Samworth, guitar; Peggy Lee, cello; Bill Clark, trumpet; Dylan van der Schyff, drums. Recorded March 28, 2003 in Vancouver. The intersection of Vancouver-based musicians with Seattle based Wayne Horvitz has roots that extend back to 1987 when Wayne was in residence at the Western Front working with Vancouver musicians including Ron Samworth. In 1992, when Talking Pictures was formed, the New York Downtown scene, of which Horvitz was a central figure, was one of the primary inspirations of the group.
