The year is 2006 and the artist is Lenny Miceli a.k.a. L-Rude.
Born and raised in small town Canton Massachusetts (a short distance
from Boston) Rude is clearly "not your typical rapper".
At age 18, Rude has devoted more than half of his life to refining his gift
as a rapper/hip-hop artist. Heavily influenced by the sounds of Dr. Dre,
Notorious B.I.G., and Eminem, Rude flows with a finesse usually seen in
the more seasoned of entertainers.
So, "how can an Irish/Italian kid FROM THE BURBS rap with a flow like that?!
...and why are critics referring to Rude as the next Eminem?
Well, in the words of Rude, "Hey, Im just doing my thing.
Why should it matter if Im black, white or purple?
Just judge the music. Love it or hate it".
