Description
Contemporary piano music from the heart. Has a new age/contemporary classical feel and an uplifting effect. Musician's Exchange Magazine describes Mel White as "an excellent pianist" who displays in her instrumental music "a flair for letting her innermost feelings flow through her fingertips." Slightly simpler and perhaps with somewhat less classical influence than "Looking for the Gift", these songs are direct and very accessible for the non-musician. They work well for meditation, yoga, LaMaze classes and de-stressing in general. "Home for Good" is the one vocal piece, sung by the gentleman for whom it was written, Christopher John Williams. The song describes his feelings upon moving to New Hampshire and realizing that everyone and everything he loved remained in New Jersey (he's back now). His passionate tenor voice tells the story vividly. "Irish Medley" features Mel's husband Don on flute and friend Rich Stanton on violin.
