Description

Ingrid has been passionate about playing piano and writing music since the age of six. Composing was always a private activity for her since she was too nervous to perform live. After graduating from Binghamton University with a theatre degree, Ingrid began auditioning in New York City.

Ingrid joined a theatre tour that traveled to the Southwest. Fortunately, at the tour venues there was usually a piano and she took these opportunities to play and write. It was then, after performing in front of others and hearing feedback for the first time, that she decided to begin performing live.

Ingrid's music has been compared to such artists as Fiona Apple and Joni Mitchell, but yet retains its orginality.

A native of Staten Island, New York, Ingrid is regularly seen on the island at the Muddy Cup Coffee House, has a continuing residency at Martini Red Bar & Lounge, and is a featured performer at various public events. She has played in such venues as The Bitter End, The Knitting Factory, CBGB's Gallery and various others.
