Description
When the four walls of Naomi Adiv's bedroom became too full of music, she took to the streets of Liverpool and Barcelona. And when the streets became too wide and deep, she brought it home and into the studio. With the help of dear friends, a late-night pizza delivery, and the beer in the studio's tiny fridge, she produced this sweet, intimate album.
Naomi's breathy voice sometimes breaks, and the listener feels for an instant like the music is being sung from just across the room. Her words are about feelings you have felt and places you have been, but with a stark and gentle tone that has something to do with the instant where heartbreak meets possibility. Her guitar wanders into the space around the lyrics, and leaves you humming along.
DJ Mor of KZSU writes:
Folk sing/songwriter with a backpack. Only acoustic guitar and vocals, SF-based Naomi delivers a lovely album... Her voice is nice, right for the genre, clear but can be scratchy just like the guitar. Lyrics about love and travel
