Description
The Judds were living in San Rafael, California in the late '70s. Naomi was in nursing school and Wynonna a 15 year old high school student (still using her "birth" name, Christina).
I was playing bass in a country and western band called the "Cowpokes". One of our band members, Suzy McKee, introduced the rest of us to Naomi and her daughter. They came to a few of our gigs and sang with us on occasion. Soon after meeting Naomi she expressed an interest in making a professional studio recording. She asked me to act as producer for the session and I agreed.
The Judds came over to my flat in San Francisco, we sat down in my kitchen, and we started working on the music.
Now, here it is...their first professional recording session...a real "collector's item" and a "must hear" for every Judds fan!
I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it with the Judds!*
