Description
NIKKI HORNSBY had one song "This IS America" from "Just Wait" CD played on CNN International TV for the USA vs. Italy World Cup Soccer Game on June 17, 2006 held in Germany.
Recently Nikki finally joined the Recording Academy (NARAS-Grammys) as a voting member and she has been a long time voting professional member of the Academy of Country Music where she was nominated four times to the ACM's Board of Directors as a Composer in the 90s as well as other Music Industry membership organizations.
As a fulltime singer, songwriter, musician, recording artists: Nikki has Charted all her Original Recordings on Commercial Radio Stations Nationally & Internationally since 1989, Recognized nationally as a State & National Music Industry Talent Judge (Colgate & others), Sole Owner & CEC of www.CJP-NHRecords.com (Common Justice Productions bus. lic. Los Angeles Co. USA) since '87 now listed on Dunn & Brad Street and Nikki Hornsby holds membership for her company in an international business club as well as donates her time to many community activities when ever possible.
Nikki is a Professional Live Performer 12 string Guitarist with many appearances on national, international, & local TV, in Movies, & National Talk Radio shows internationally. Nikki recently was a guest on IB3 TV in Spain and many different radio interviews in Palma De Mallorca with radio airplay & interviews in Germany 2005-2006 as well as commerical airplay European wide for her original music.
Nikki is the granddaughter of 30's 40's Columbia Recording Artist Dan Hornsby who recorded "Oh Susanna", "Little Liza Jane", "Little Brown Jug". Nikki's Grandfather was the first voice recorded as the "Arkansas Traveler" who was posthumously inducted into Atlanta Music Hall of Fame 1986 known in publications as "Cheerful Dan - the Man with the two octave voice!"
