Description
"Big Daddy Z" AKA Noah Zacharin is a Toronto-based musician with 5 CD's of original music and appearances on many recordings by other performers to his credit. Critics have often commented on the stylistic diversity of his writing--heavy on the blues, while incorporating jazz, folk, country, bluegrass, and classical influences as well. His mastery of the guitar often has listeners surprised they aren't listening to two or three guitarists. These skills never distract, however; never about technique, and always about emotion, they create a space a listener can inhabit. "Big Daddy Z"--a moniker conferred upon him by his fellow musicians, is a nod to Zacharin's prowess as a writer, singer, guitarist, and performer--relaxed, engaging, and challenging. The CD of the same name is his second release of 2002, and features his deepest singing on record to date. Try some BDZ; you might like it.
