NO CLASS CITIZEN.
The people who are left out and left behind. The ones who take everyone's shit and still get back up to walk tall.
NO CLASS CITIZEN was formed in 2002 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, U.S.A. Matt Michuda (bass) started working with Ron Mason (guitars) in the band CLONE. When CLONE disbanded, it reformed now adding Doug Crum on Guitar and Zakk Z. (of NEW SOCIETY OF ANARCHISTS) on drums creating PRODUCTS OF HATE. Losing our singer ended up causing a major change in the band's outlook. Doug stepped up to the plate to start playing drums and with Matt and Ron started writing new material creating a heavy blend of metal, hardcore, and punk to the likes of ALL OUT WAR, MINOR THREAT, CONVERGE, AND M.D.C. (MILLIONS OF DEAD COPS). After a lot of hard work and a never-ending search for a vocalist, our good friend Zakk Z. came back to take up the task of front-man...completing our new brutal sound.
In 2003 we went to River's Edge Recording Studio and recorded our first CD "FRIENDLY FIRE". The album was produced by Zakk Z., Jason Z., and NO CLASS CITIZEN. An aggressive full-on assault of ten song. The title track "FRIENDLY FIRE" consisting of shred-nasty riffs in the vein of SLAYER and old C.O.C. to the track "DRY SOCKET" which is a blend of grind and death-metal, or "F*&K YOU"...a punk/hardcore anthem with Arlo Z. of NEW SOCIETY OF ANARCHISTS on back-ups. The album is a full-blend of heavy riffs, pounding beats, and hauntingly truthful lyrics. The completion of the album has caused everyone in the band to grow musically and individually. We have started writing new material for our next CD and will be heading into the studio this winter..
NO CLASS CITIZEN is stomping our style of heavy music into Milwaukee's underground scene. So come to our shows and have a good time. Look for our album "DRESS TO IMPRESS" coming soon on Turkey Vulture Records and prepare yourselves for the future onslaught.
