Description
Since its birth on April 20th of 2002, Odious has been delivering a style of music to their audience that is very unique from any other band that has emerged in Ohio. Each member's musical influence and interest varies from one another's to make for a unique combined sound, and the live show invites the listeners to involve themselves in the performance. The members consist of JOSH on main vocals and utility percussion, RE:JECt providing supporting vocals and samples, LADD on lead guitar, GABRIEL on rhythm guitar, JORGE on bass, and EMMIT holding it all together with heavy drum beats. Odious has a very large and loyal following in Ohio, and has recently been creating quite a stir in Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan...all achieved so far through self-promotion. Odious is the most dependable to make the show happen...no matter what circumstances may arise. Odious has opened for many national acts such as Mushroomhead, Hed pe, Dry Kill Logic, Clutch, Dog Fashion Disco, Bobaflex, Dope, Byzantine and more... The crowd is able to easily feed off of Odious' energy, which is perfect to pump up the audience to let loose for the main act.
***ADDITIONAL NOTE: Odious recently released their 2nd effort A CHRONIC DI$$ORDER on January 1st, 2006. The current set list consists mostly of all new material, and they sell out of their CDs at nearly every venue.
