Description
Jef Peace is a long-time jazz veteran who recently decided to try his hand at techno/trance. "Almost Fully Recovered" is the result of his first three months of self-taught computer-based music composition, but it sounds more like the work of a seasoned musician, like it should.
His jazz background leaks through and several of the tracks are truly cross-genre works that will entertain and delight people of all ages and musical taste.
Mixing live sound with electronic patterns, his songs are both unique and familiar in their structure and flow.
Jef chose the name "Warren Peace" as his artist name to reflect his personal political outlook ... well, that and he's always appreciated a good pun.
While the overwhelming majority of the tracks are solo pieces by Jef Peace, there are a couple tracks that feature others:
"A Little Different" features the ivory tinklings of Cyd Peace (Jef's wife) on her Yamaha stage piano.
"Buddha's Belly (EvO:R ReM:X) features electric and acoustic guitar by Jimmy Caterine of Sacred Rites and flute by Roberto Luz.
Warren Peace's next album, already started, will be comprised of tracks that feature these and other fine musicians from around the world.
