OuterRail
ZetaBoo
Incorporating worldly elements and jazzy passages into one unique and imaginative concept. Lot of vocalizing and a groove percussions in almost folky melodic compositions, flavored with beautiful ambients.

Description
The sounds in ZetaBoos new album are rich and down to earth.
With spontaneity and intuition, Jarmo Saari has composed songs that are melodical and folky. Marko Timonen provides brilliant, swinging percussion. Its the rhythm that comes through in the music of Outerrail. The band comes over relaxed and swinging.
ZetaBoos Outerrail album continues the bands individual and inventive approach, but is more subtle than their previous releases. The theme of the disc is the outer rail and homesickness. Outerrail meanders off the tracks and at the same time goes deeper within. "This is like a series of travellers landscapes. The journey is more important than arriving. The traveller prefers to follow a flitting butterfly or the advice of a stranger than a tourist map. Boldness and spontaneity are rewarded..., says Jarmo Saari, who composed the songs.
Four top Finnish musicians have been playing together in ZetaBoo since 1996. Jarmo Saari is known for his original guitar role in the Tuomari Nurmio band and his amazing Solu project. Anna- Mari Khr is one of Finlands most prominent musicians, and her work with Pekka Kuusisto has been widely recognized. Pekka Lehtis career stretches for over 20 years, with highlights including J.Karjainens Mustat Lasit and Vrttin. Marko Timonen is known for his superb percussion in the music of Ismo Alanko Sti and Emma Salokoski. ZetaBoo have also worked together with many top artists. The band has contributed to discs by Susanna Haavisto, Sergio Machado and recent debutante Hanna Marsh.
ZetaBoos music is influenced by jazz, pop and ethno. Above all, the disc is highly personal: I had to do this music with these people and no-one else. This has been a fantastic, but hard journey, says Jarmo Saari.
