We are putting ourselves through the trials and tribulations of being a band. We are not looking for a single-bullet, flash in the pan theory. We are a band that desires a grassroots following of true appreciators of our music. We have self funded a national tour, and in the process we have starved, slept at truck stops, narrowly escaped a plummeting death in our van, driven a thousand miles for one show, and been threatened for our lives; all for the sake of the music that we make and love. We are not looking for an easy way into a lifetime of music, and for that exact reason we expect to be around for years after others have died off. August House makes music that will stick with you like a southern girls Sunday dress on a hot afternoon. A playful rhythm section is accompanied by a strong lead guitar and intriguing lead vocals to keep your mind awake and captive for the whole musical experience.
