Skeletons
Paul Basile
A homemade album recorded in the Alaskan bush. A lo-fi collection of earnest folk-rock songs. Damn good.

Description
Paul is the prodigal Long Island son returned. After 4+ years in the Alaskan bush, its
high time he re-enter civilization at large...enough with the sled dogs, enough with the
cold; play some music where the people can hear it.
Paul comes to New York with 4 long, dark winters-worth of songs and a brand new
album, Skeletons. The disc was mostly recorded in the woody confines of a small
bedroom, plastic wrapped windows and background snowmobile engines included.
Armed with a duct-taped Martin guitar and his gravely voice, Paul writes earnest songs
about people loving, people being wronged and people wanting to do right. The songs
are certainly steeped in all things Alaskan, but speak to a broad audience and dodge
cliche at every turn. They are catchy American folk-rock songs for anyone, anywhere.
