The Pre-Season
Payboy
The souths Hip Hop album of the year. Just great music and you would be a fool to miss out on this album. A diamond in the ruff. No doubt the best from a south artist in 2006. This album is better then most major artist thats out now. Very soulful.

Description
Born and raised in Nashville, TN. Payboy was automatically around music and rhymes. His father was in a local singing group that had a couple of local hits around TN. His mother is a poet with poems that have been professionally published. Payboy's older cousin Niko was working with 'Bone Thugs N Harmony' at the time that he was being introduced to Hip Hop. "When I would listen to her and Bone together it just made me love music!" Payboy's older cousin Terrra was also in a local group that traveled and did many shows. "Terrra is the reason for me actually rappin' he was the first person that ever worked with me." After that it was a learning process, Payboy has been in groups and has been in a few different labels, but he found success when he went solo. "Nobody could really understand what I wanted to do in music and they were trying to mold me into something that wasn't me." Payboy has now opened up shows for platinum selling artists like Master P, Ying Yang Twins, Mr. Bigg and Hot Boys just to name a few.. He is now with Top Flame Records and is the main priority. He has been on mix tapes in New Orleans, Little Rock, Tennessee, and just all over the South. Payboy is being backed by some of the Souths biggest name DJs, like DJ Bryant D who hosted the sample disk that made everyone respect the name PAYBOY. He has even made a buzz for himself in the West Coast as well. His debut album "The Pre-Season" is now here so become part of history and get this album.
