Description
These songs were recorded in San Mateo, California at B Street Recording Studio. The musicians have all performed many gigs together throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Bobby Black's (pedal steel guitar) credits include performing and recording with Asleep at the Wheel, the New Riders of the Purple Sage, Hank Williams, Sr. and the Black Brothers. Tommy Wester (fiddle and guitar) has played with Roy Clark, David Frizzel and Don, Debbie and Diana Cox. Don Owen's credits (drums) are numerous as well.
The song "Rodeo-It's A Matter Of Style" was co-written by Pete and Tommy and was chosen as a movie soundtrack. It features Bobby and Tommy harmonizing pedal steel and guitar riffs in an authentic and original Western Swing Style. Their work on the Rockabilly tune "Too Much Fun" and Tommy's fiddle on "Hotel No Tell Time" is truly extaordinary!
