Description
Peter Blum is a musician and hypnotherapist living in Woodstock, NY. Since the early 90's he has been exploring the mysterious acoustic properties of the metal singing bowls. In 1998, inspired by the feedback from audiences at live Singing Bowl meditation events, he went into the recording studio and emerged a year and a half later with a four CD set entitled Sounds for Healing. Of the four CD's, one quickly proved to be the most popular: Coming Home - Four Sonic Meditations has continued to be in demand at yoga centers, new age bookstores, health spas and from private practitioners of meditation and massage. It is just over 40 minutes of almost continuous long tones produced a collection of exquisite authentic "singing bowls" of the Himalayas. The only other sound to be heard is that of the tamboura in the distant background. An instant classic in the new age market!
