Description
President Gas is a Tokyo based Rock Band with an upbeat flavor, very catchy and radio friendly. Formed in 2001, the band has been writing, recording and performing ever since.
Just before the production of President Gas 3, some of the members of the band were changed several times one after another. Under those circumstances, the only three members, Mi, Ghid and Jojo dedicated to the production. In fact, the guitar and bass parts of almost all of the tunes were played by Ghid. It seemed like a crisis that made "President Gas 3" to assume experimental character. They used sampling sound for "Mark 2". The drum loop of "I.C.U."was an approach to industrial rock sound. This tune was written by Ghid inspired by his near-death experience.
President Gas, however, is not the band which sticks only in exploring the novelty. They never forgets their original intention that they should lay a special emphasis on the lyrics. "Daddy & Mammy" and "Maria" are the typical tunes that show their intention. Needless to say, the sound quality is satisfactory to the listners with good ears.
This album has already been sold well in Japan. Now they started the sales overseas. Please check out the universal rock from Japan!
