Description
Program are a Houston based indie pop-rock band consisting of Pedro Tijerina, Dave Robinson, Elias Reyes, Aaron Potts and Mat Garcia. They have been creating their multifaceted blend of pop since the infancy of 2004 and have been amassing more fans with each of their electrifying and all around dazzling live shows. Program has also garnered the attention of the beloved Houston Press with their recent nomination as Best New Act. Additionally, Program has also caught the accolades of the Houston Chronicle, the notable UK blog, takeyourmedicine, and the University of Houston newspaper, The Daily Cougar, which spoke plainly in declaring Program a group that defied musical boundaries. Discography-wise, the harmony rich band has released two EPs (EP1 and Evil Is Job One, respectively), which were strong enough to win them a slot on the most recent SXSW music festival and befit them a recent Midwest and east coast tour. All around, the future is incredibly bright for this richly talented group of musicians. The band is currently creating a much-anticipated full length scheduled for release later this year. Furthermore, the band is revving their engine to take on the Southwest/Northwest part of the country on a tour tentatively scheduled for this fall. So take note, if you enjoy incredible pop harmonies intertwining with luscious keyboard sounds all held together by the voice of Cure-Smiths obsessive, then Program have the goods youve been craving.
