PARALLEL WORLDS is the music vehicle of Babis Syros.
EXISTENCE is his first album - ambient electronica with
a fair amount of dark elements made exclusively by
using analogue synthesizers.EXISTENCE is an
atmospheric and melodic journey through the history of
electronic music, from TANGERINE DREAM, KLAUS SHULZE
and BRIAN ENO to AUTECHERE, PETER NAMLOK and BOARDS OF
CANADA. The influences are evident but at the same
time assimilated in such a personal manner that makes
PARALLEL WORDS of an equally high standing. This is
an honest and original work devoid of labels that
stands out in the international electronic music
scene. EXISTENCE is a musical adventure which
despite its dark mood, at the end reveals its bright
side that makes the ''space sounds'' of the
synthesizers more human. This is music for imaginary
places, a warm and personal electronica that has come
to stay.
