Description
The Rails began in the summer of 2001 when vocalist/guitarist Jeremy Willets returned home from college and was looking for a vehicle to explore his newly developing songwriting skills. He found it in guitarist/vocalist Drew Doman, his guitar teacher during high school. Jeff Harmon knew Willets through Doman, and agreed to do the drumming. After numerous false starts - and a few sessions worth of completed recordings that just didn't measure up - the band finished their debut album, "Life's a Lonely Ride," in the summer of 2006.
