The Follow up, disc to the debut CD from Ravner Salinas, "Shadow - A parable" is now available. 12 months in the making, a polished disc of music that has stood the test of time. Though the music is of a more aural, peaceful theme, the idea behind it is ultimately a tribute to the American poet Mr Edgar Allan Poe. This disc includes unaccompanied guitar music of Bach, Beethoven, Tarrega, and even two pieces of music by Ravner Salinas himself. The two pieces of music by Salinas here are wonderfully inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's tale/essay/parable entitled "Shadow - A Parable". These two musical tributes, sketches, shadows... make this disc a "must have" for any lover of classical music who while able to appreciate and truly reach for the heavenly, also longs to feel, and experience the mystery of dark & beautiful things.
