Rick Scott's third children's recording, PHILHARMONIC FOOL was nominated as Best Children's Album in the 1995 Juno Awards (Canada's Grammies) and won a Special Judge's Award in the Children's Music Web Awards.

Written for his granddaughter who was born with Down Syndrome, ANGELS DO has become an anthem for the special needs community around the world and is seen regularly on Treehouse TV. Rick is a Goodwill Ambassador for Down Syndrome research.

WHO IS RICK SCOTT?
Rick is an award winning father, grandfather and family entertainer who travels the globe bringing music and laughter to audiences of all ages. He has released 15 albums of heart-warming original music, including six highly acclaimed children's recordings that have sold over 90,000 copies.

THE 5ELEMENTS won 2004 NAPPA Gold and Parents Choice Awards and was nominated for a Juno Award (Canadas Grammies). MAKING FACES won Best Children's Release in the 2001 West Coast Music Awards and is Parents' Choice Approved. RICK AROUND THE ROCK is 2004 Parents Choice Recommended. THE ELECTRIC SNOWSHOE has sold over 50,000 copies on cassette and is Parents' Choice Approved.

In 2006, Rick will release SNOOZE MUSIC, a collection of original dulcimer lullabies for everybody from infant to elder. Includes Stephen Fosters classic lullaby SLUMBER MY DARLING, featuring vocalist mom Andrea LHeureux.
