ABOUT RICK SCOTT:
Award winning singer/songwriter Rick Scott has performed in nine countries and released 15 recordings, including six for children. He combines humour and kindess in songs that truly appeal to all ages. He is Canada's foremost mountain dulcimer maverick who plays amd composes in his own unique style.
Rick was nominated for a 2004 Juno Award and won Parents Choice and NAPPA Gold Awards for THE 5 ELEMENTS, his English/Cantonese collaboration with acclaimed Hong
Kong musician Harry Wong. Hes also been honoured with West Coast Music, Our Choice and Children's Music Web Awards.
Rick is Goodwill Ambassador for the Down Syndrome Research Foundation and gives inspiration musical keynotes around the world. His song and video ANGELS DO has become an anthem for the special need community. In the mid 70s Rick was an indie recording pioneer with Shari Ulrich and Joe Mock in the infamous BC folk trio PIED PUMKIN, who reunited in 1998 after a 25 year hiatus and
