Description
200 Miles From Everywhere...
Produced by Richie Podolor (Three Dog Night, Steppenwolf, Michelle Branch) and engineered by Bill Cooper (Ella Fitzgerald, John Mayall, Three Dog Night). Also contributing to the record is the Grammy award winner Rami Jaffee of The Wallflowers (piano, Hammond B3, & accordion). Ramis resume also includes hits by the Foo Fighters, Johnny Cash, and Melissa Etheridge to name a few.
Recorded and mixed at American Recording Co. in Calabasas, CA on the same analog Neve recording console (originally owned by Randy Bachman), Hammond B3 (the very one from Born To Be Wild), and piano used on so many hits over the past 50 years.
These are The Riders...
The Band:
Great bands are rarely just put together, they are earned. The Riders are no exception to this rule. Based on the dream that Rock'n'Roll music can still mean something; these musicians have come together and created a sound and feeling that has been absent for far too long.
The Songs:
Songwriting is not an issue for these guys; from stories of triumph, to the pain of heartache, and the road traveled while en route to both. They have been through it, and share it with you to make it seem as if you were right there when it all went down.
The Musicians:
Infused in this tight unit are true song craft and the ability to go beyond the expectations that are held for most musicians of today. The Riders are schooled musicians and the guys who have played dives.
Live:
With their exceptional songs and musicianship The Riders are lighting up stages across Southern California and reminding audiences how meaningful and fun RocknRoll can still be!
