Description
Robbie Schaefer is a guitarist and singer/songwriter. He records and plays on his own as well as with the folk-pop band Eddie From Ohio. His favorite color is red. His favorite food is sushi. His favorite band, besides Eddie From Ohio, is Paul Simon. He recognizes that Paul Simon is not really a band per se. His other favorite things are, in no particular order: baseball, coffee, red wine, soccer, and cooking. Robbie is particularly good at memorizing meaningless baseball trivia. Hes particularly bad at playing poker. He generally likes people until they give him a reason not to.
Robbie lives in Virginia, but its the northern part so he doesnt have that Virginia accent, except when he says, yall (which he says quite often).
In addition to 9 albums with Eddie From Ohio (selling over 120,000 copies independently), Robbie released In The Flesh, a live solo album, in 2004. In 2006 he released his first cd for children, Songs For Kids Like Us, on Rocket Pop Records and has enjoyed adding childrens shows to his regular tour schedule. Plans are underway for a new full-length studio album scheduled for release on Little Star Records in 2007.
