Description
Ronnie Johnson first came to prominence as a musician when he was drafted into Georgie Fame's "Blue Flames" following in the footsteps of his mentor, John McLaughlin.
His debut solo album - Give them enough Rope - was released in 1991 and has become something of a cult classic.
Ronnie has worked with Van Morrison for many years featuring prominently on many Van Morisson albums, including 'Live in San Fransisco'.
Ronnie has worked live for many years at the highest level with artists such as Bob Dylan, John Lee Hooker, Peter Green, Leo Sayer and Van Morrison.
Ronnie appears regularly with his award winning modern jazz combo FIRST LIGHT, whilst maintaining a steady output of recording sessions and writing commissions when not touring.
