I just received a very interesting album straight from Florida. Ronno Jaxon, voice, guitar and songwriter, just created an album that brings to my mind the 70's Jimi Hendrix rock blues sound. An interesting trip into rock blues where the rough voice of Ronno and his rockin' guitar are our guides. 7 songs that we will all apreciate because of their blues mood, always the same and always different, always passionate and able to make us feel like no other music does. The guitar is rough and the voice is mournful like blues' soul itself. The devotion towards this kind of music is true and sincere and you can get it from the first time you listen to the album. The guitar riffs are so natural and the rhythmic section is perfect for this music genre. For the ones who love electric blues, "Soulmate" is the perfect warm and fascinating album, one of those albums that won't deceive you even after a million times you will listen to it, because is true, honest and played with love and passion.
