Description
Powerful, intense, dynamic, and melodic: Just a few words to describe SILVER SIDE, a hard rock/metal band hailing from San Diego, CA. Renowned for their highly energetic live shows, SILVER SIDE recognizes that excellent music must be accompanied by an explosive act onstage as well. SILVER SIDE strives to introduce a fresh new look and sound on hard rock/metal by pointing out positive concepts that are otherwise ignored within the hard rock/metal genre. The four members that comprise SILVER SIDE bring a distinctive yet cohesive repertoire of life experiences and musical tastes. In addition, three of the four members actively and proudly serve in the United States Navy.
Having been compared to Disturbed, Danzig, and Godsmack, SILVER SIDE draws a multitude of influences that range from the likes of Alice in Chains, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and Soundgarden. Aggressive-melodic-hard rock is what the usual consensus is when categorizing SILVER SIDE.
Some of the more recent accomplishments of the band include: The release of their independent album Trail of Stones in August 2006, winner of Battle of the Bands in April 2006, and multiple articles in The Navy Compass highlighting the bands success.
No matter where or when SILVER SIDE plays, they display one hundred percent in their performance. With their rapidly growing fan base and their reception of newfound respect amongst their peers, it is evident that SILVER SIDE is on to something fresh and explosive.
