Heavy dance beats and analog synths, exaggerated with the accents of a solid rock band.
Combining elements of electro-rock, synth-pop, breaks, trip-hop, industrial, drum n bass, old-skool new wave, noize and atmosphere to create a blend of hypnotic rhythm with melody. slowEarth's music keeps you wondering where it will take you next.

"On it's new self-released CD "Beautiful Machines," Atlanta synth-rock quartet SlowEarth further refines it's alchemical mix of electronic grooves and conventional rock instrumentation. On tracks like "I Will," dance floor beats are subtly augmented with vocal melodies and song structures that wouldn't sound out of place on an adventurous modern-rock station. Elsewhere, minimalist backdrops and pained, filtered vocals tug "ID" in different directions, while a spiky backdrop and a Peter Murphy drone fuse the insistent "Falling" into more than the sum of its parts. While the electronic influences prevail, SlowEarth throws in enough rock dynamics to keep things interesting, creating a chocolate-and-peanut-butter effect: two great tastes that taste great together." -Kevin Forest Moreau
"SlowEarth is an engaging and often hypnotic band of rockers with an air of mystery who aren't afraid to venture over into prog and trip-hop territory." - Lee Smith
SlowEarth updates synth-pop with modern rock and dance music idioms for the new millennium. - Shane Harrison
