Description
Awake at the Wheel contains ten of George Stetten's original songs, with a mix of folk, rock, and jazz influences. Coming from the New England folk tradition, Stetten studied jazz at the New England Conservatory, and played piano for many years at the Fishmongers Cafe in Woods Hole, MA. He has performed at the Philly Folk Festival and on the PBS television series, All American Jazz. On this album, he performs all the instrument parts and is backed up on vocals by his wife and daughters.
