Description
Manna Records recording artist Steve Reeves has been writing and performing original music for more than 20 years. Reeves, who has appeared in concert across North America, has also shared his popular songs with television and radio audiences around the world. Steve is best known for his ballads, often accompanied by piano or guitar, which tell inspirational stories from the chapters of life.
Among other music, Steve has written more than 20 Christian ballads since 1976 and, in 1999, committed to the process of recording those songs so that they could be more widely shared.
Among Steves most requested songs are The Ballad of Miss Lilly, Its The One, Bearers of the Promise, Soft, Sure Voice, "I Will Sing", He Is There and the popular praise song, Shining Through. These and other of Reeves original songs are featured on his 2005 album release, Rain On Steaming Pavement and his 2006/7 release of the "Baby King" single and Road To Nineva. Reeves is currently working on two additional Christian CDs, tentatively titled "It Won't Be Long" and "Parables & Promises", both slated for release in 2007.
Within months of the release of his first album, Steves music became part of the ministries of some 65 North American Christian radio stations and video performances of many of his songs have been shared via satellite, cable and Internet television to a worldwide audience.
Steve lives near Paradise, California with his wife, Lee Ann, where their businesses serve several communities. The Reeves are active in their local church family and also work with and in support of Manna Records, and are active in the formation, funding and ongoing empowerment of The Manna Foundation.
Steve travels on concert tours several times per year, sharing his music with interdenominational groups of fellow Christians.
