Besides performing as a concert saxophonist, Styliani has performed as a woodwind player in the Broadway pits of New York City and in other shows and venues.

This CD is the first in the series of unique woodwind music to be recorded- in this case, alto flute. The alto flute easily captures the qualities of the Native American flutes. I picked to record these melodies because of their beautiful and peaceful qualities. Also, this recording could be considered mood music - these melodies will surely relax you.
