Description
If It Rains On Tuesday is a blend of acoustic rock with poppy hooks and catchy melodies. Michelle's powerful voice transcend the songs to explosive new rock heights. You can see her and her band performing live throughout NYC. This is her debut CD, released in July 2006.
Michelle has always wanted to be a performer. She has been on the stage since the age of three, dancing, singing, and acting. Michelle attended Marist College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in communications and theater. During her time at Marist, she acted in and directed numerous theater productions. After graduation, Michelle moved to New York City where she began to study acting with Terry Schreiber at T. Schreiber Studio, as well as vocal training and performance with Betty Buckley, Tregoney Shepard, and currently with Nancy Evers.
Michelle, who always loved to sing and write poetry, taught herself guitar with the intention of writing songs. Through playing the guitar and songwriting, Michelle has discovered that creating her own music is where her true passion lies. Her songs are heartfelt, truthful, and emotionally driven.
Michelle describes her music as rock/folk with soulful vocals. Among the artists who she accredits to influencing her most are Tracy Chapman, Sheryl Crow, Barenaked Ladies, Sarah McLachlan, John Fogerty, Citizen Cope, Guster, Fiona Apple, John Mayer, and The Beatles.
