Description
* A 15 song collection of psychedelic blues and
folk music plus some poetry all written and
performed solo by Sunny Zarro, an artist who in
1969 moved from New York City to Venice
Beach, California.
*A product of the 1960s, Sunny hung out with
Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan.
*Sunny slept outside and sometimes in an
inoperable car, never far from his large cart filled
with everyday necessities and personal treasures.
*Everyone knew Sunny and eventually embraced
him as "The King of Venice".
*He could often be found on or near the Venice
Boardwalk holding court with the other local
artists.
*This never released CD was recorded 15 years
ago on a cassette 4 track.
* Sunny recently passed away and the CD is now
an extremely important historical document from
a man influential in the 1960s psychedelic
movement.
