Description
After being yelled at for playing the same song over and over,Tommy started to learn every song he heard-first on the list,in 1981,was lots of hard rock.10 years later at his first gig with his first band, the reality of music was taking hold, finding only new experience and time onstage could ever make for a better musician.Fast forward seven years,1998,to a downtown Charleston music venue where last call was 4 a.m.,and all the local musicians came to jam after hours, and Tommy Thunderfoot was born.
The Blues takes many forms, most of them female and desirable,so learning this music became very easy for Tommy. After leaving Charleston for 3 years,he returned to record an album and start over in the music scene. The songs in this collection are from a 7 year span of life-the oldest from 1995,the newest from 2003 recorded the day of final mix-down.
Tommy Thunderfoot has lived every song on the album and each song represents a point in time mixed with the who, what, and where that make them real.If you haven't heard of Tommy Thunderfoot, now's your chance. With all of the influences of the greatest blues players of the last 100 years and a tip of the hat to the most recent, you are sure to find something that grabs you on " WALKIN' "
