Description
On July 27, 1999, Throwing Toasters released their first CD. The CD was a collection of Live Tracks mostly taken from the tiny wooden outdoor patio stage at a small coffee shop in Studio City, CA called Sonoma Blue. Pressed by hand and limited to only 150 copies, it sold out in just one year. (Yeah, it took 365 days to sell 150 copies. Is that good or bad?)
Anyway, that first CD did a couple of things, it let fans of the band take the music home with them, it started the band down the road of titling their CDs alphabetically (Alvin, burnt, CHROME, Dork) and it gave people a good sturdy coaster to set drinks on.
Now, Alvin is back in it's Ultimate edition. Some might even call it The Definitive Edition (because that's what it's called). This version has ALL the tracks that were on Alvin, all the tracks that were on Alvin two (the re-release for mp3.com) and 9 previously unreleased tracks!
If you're looking to see how it all began or, more importantly, where it all went wrong, this is the CD for you!
