Me And My Apathy
Robin Yukiko
This is Pop/Rock/Folk with jazz influence--some pieces are soothing and beautiful and some rock out...some do both. Eerie soprano vocals top it off.

Description
Robin Yukiko is a singer/songwriter, pianist and guitarist in the Boston area. She is preparing to graduate Berklee College of Music in Professional Music. Robin is currently producing her second album with her band, The Robin Yukiko Band, which will be released later this year.
While living in Orlando, FL, she made her debut with her first major recording project, Me and my Apathy. The pop/rock album was self-produced and released by her label RCH Records in January of 2002. She has performed for several fundraisers such as A Night of Cool Artists, raising money for the art department of Dr. Phillips High School, and Lilish Fair, for breast cancer.
During high school, Robin gained experience performing in showcases such as "Hard Rock 101: The Future of Music History," at Hard Rock Live, where she sang original material and played bass.
Growing up as a roadie, Yukiko was taught by her father in music theory, piano, jazz improvising, and arranging. She began classical training for voice when she turned 13 and won several vocal competitions statewide. At 14, Robin Yukiko was the youngest high school student to be featured at Carnegie Hall in the Florida Youth Chorale.
While involved in the Visual and Performing Arts magnet program at Dr. Phillips High School, Robin participated in a variety of musical experiences, including performances as a jazz singer at Arabian Nights, the Orlando Convention Center, Disney's Boardwalk, and the Bistro Cappuccino. Robin spent her first year of college as an opera major at the University of Miami.
