Aloha friends and strangers!!! To begin with my name is Dennis Proffitt aka DenRA and I have been making music for years(lots) I play Bass,Synth,Keyboards,C Flute,Clay Drum, and all the many instruments using digital and organic sounds mixing and recording with Macintosh Computer.This first album is all instrumental except for the voice of the ocean on "Thunderbird" The inspiration for this album came from comet Swan,a green colored comet that passed by the earth recently leaving me inspired and energized. My creativity was enhanced in a supernatural way that defies gravity or common reason.....So began the creation of this album out lining musical, personal , spiritual ,healing, and invisible influences from other worlds. In 1980-81 I WAS ON THE BIG ISLAND OF HAWAII and helped build a Shiva Temple for Babaji an immortal spiritual master from India and the song "Babaji Returns is about his return to assist good people everywhere on the Planet regardless of nation,religion or race.My thoughts on religion is that truth lies in all religions,but ultimate truth lies beyond all religions. The Remembering (Summer) is inspired by Brian Wilson & The Beach Boys and Eric Johnson(guitar) and reflects a flowing peaceful fun time of innocence and love. GreenVisions is a visionary dream of Ecotopia....the return of the garden state on earth and the power and balance innate therein,also for Julia Butterfly Hill (tree sitter activist) and a dear friend of mine. Moonlight Kalie,Moonlight was the original song i did of this one for a close friend of pyschic artistry and magic and Moonlight Kalie 08 is a remix of the same song and Michelle 7 is for another close friend who inspired the flame of peace and love. Blossom in the Sun #2 is for Kirsten in Hawaii....her radiance and beauty will always be etched in the portals of time, surfing the waves of ascension toward higher goals and freedom of spirit and love. The Rainbow Eagle's Path is the road i travel and it has taken me to many different areas including the Southwest (Santa Fe ,New Mexico and Sedona,Az.) The mystical wisdom of the Native Americans is beyond words and my attempt to explain it would fall short of the actual direct experience. I hope you enjoy this album of many faceted cultures and dimensions .A new world is coming, but not one devised of man's politics or religion......but ultimate truth based on life and love and a real concern for each other not vested interest, corruption and greed. Just got a chance to listen to the album all the way through - great stuff. Lots of different sounds and feelings, all bubbling under the surface...my favorite thing is how the songs gradually transform, almost without the listener realizing it. It's something you could listen to intently, or just put on in the background - that's a hard thing to do well, but you've definitely pulled it off.
