Description
Ashrei is the debut CD of Cantor Keith Miller. A Los Angeles native, Cantor Miller has served Kehillat Maarav-The Westside Congegation of Santa Monica, CA since 1993.
The settings on this CD can be described as eclectic: jazz, gospel, ballad, klezmer and more, comprising traditional prayer/psalm texts, wedding music, and Jewish holidays. All of the music on this CD was arranged by Chris Hardin, whose talent and musciality is superb.
All proceeds from "Ashrei" are used to support the ongoing activities of Kehillat Ma'arav, the only Conservative synagogue in Santa Monica.
