Description
The Best of Saturday Night Jams 2005-2006 is a collection of the best improvised jams from the weekly show. These jams were spontaneously created by the band Fuze in their home studio and range in sound textures from jazzy to heavy rock.
This is a snapshot of the band shortly after changing members with Craig Wisper moving to bass guitar and Dave Kneeves joining as the main guitarist. Most of these cuts also have Joe Purrenhage playing keyboards although he also sometimes plays guitar. Marcus Roland handles drums and percussion as usual.
The Saturday Night Jam is a weekly show the band Fuze started in the mid '90s as a improvisational session with no boundaries or rules, rather simply a musician get together to have fun. Over the years it has developed into a weekly show that has been webcasted live, recorded into archives, and occasionally features guest artists.
