Description
Gin Piston is a hard driving, straight forward Rock and Roll band from Oceanside,CA.
The band is hard to classify. The sound is familiar, but you just can't pinpoint who they sound like. That's because of the varying influences each member brings. Throw together folk and funk, country and rock, blues and metal, and you've got GIN PISTON.
Gin Piston's CD debut received a B+ in San Diego's North County Times. The Times Jim Trageser describes the band as:
"Caught in a time warp from 1973 and transported to the present. The sound here is all electric guitars, crashing drums, driving bass beats, and world weary vocals. Gin Piston plays here with a winning combination of energy, skill, and enthusiasm that makes it impossible not to like their music"
