For Starters I started to make music for the sheer reason that I was not satisfied with the way hip-hop and rap were going. Dont get me wrong, I got much respect for everyone in whatever they do because it takes a lot to do what Im trying to do. I am a fan of all kinds of music too; from metallica to LL Cool J, to Bach and Chopin back to Ghetto Boys a very wide array. But hip-hop is my heart 4 sho. A lot of artists Ive noticed in the past several years have been either lacking lyrics, feeling/meaning, tight old-school beats, and most of all the hard corebottom droppin BASS. I love the boom! My music is kind of a mix of that old school, ambient gangsta background with the harmonics and synths with that symphonic/classical twist with the LOUD in your face Bass and BEATS and crystal clear lyrics you can feelfor the ride the crib or the club. To know the Winner is to feel the Winner and in return to feel the Winner is to KNOW me.
I write all my music from all my complete experiences from my life from my days as a kid comin up in The O Town (Ottawa, ks), to my high school not so fly school days, to my Navy Days living on a ship, to my TWO Dessert storm experiencesto NOW. Since Im not a rich man the only thing I can offer the world is ME.
This Album Still Ballin' is the second installment of the G THE WINNER trilogy. There are two albums that I have released at this time. The Arrival explains what I did and went through to get to where I amnot just music wise but life as an entire. When I arrived I delt with the Non-believers, the haters, the wanna bees, the LAW, the misdirection, the uncertainty, and most of allall of the trial and error situations which help me to become the man I am today. But No matter what they say said or DO...baby...I'M STILL BALLIN'...AWWW YEAH!
