Our CD "Walk with Wonder" did not get the GRAMMY nomination but "Trout Fishing In America" did and we like them a lot...so that is a good thing! We hope you all have a great holiday season and don't forget to "Walk with Wonder" even if you live in a chilly climate. 1/26/06 GREAT NEWS: 'WALK WITH WONDER' JUST WON ANOTHER AWARD!!! Constant Wonder was voted "Best Recording Artist" by Kids Radio Mania Family Favorite Awards. Here are the reviewer comments: Connies instrumental skills and Alices vocal abilities combine to make a top-notch professional production of music for young people. Constant Wonders jazz-inspired music underscores imaginative lyrics that reflect a love of nature. With short talk segments in between songs, the album is refreshing.

Connie Gillies and Alice Weiser met three years ago at a women's retreat at the end of Long Island, New York, where they both live. Connie was playing an old upright piano and Alice was singing, and the connection they made at that moment became the soul of Constant Wonder. A deep part of them (complete with goose bumps) innately realized that they had found the vehicle to express their gifts and talents. In no time at all, they realized that Connie's teaching experience, fluid piano style and songwriting combined with Alice's soulful singing and expressive acting could produce wonder-filled interactive children's performances characterized by sheer delight and boundless energy.
Like their live performances, "Walk with Wonder" is an interactive musical journey, inviting children to explore, wonder, answer, imagine, act and sing along. Alice and Connie's stage personas come shining through, with Connie embodying a Sesame Street style "Bert" (only happier and more evolved!) while Alice plays a full-blown "Ernie".
