This live unplugged album continued to chart as high as #2 in the Oregonian (Portland, OR) for several years. Between electric projects, Shipe wanted to keep the material working without degenerating into one-dimensional solo acoustic folksy-ism. So he and Ehren Ebbage brought in Elisabeth Babcock on cello, and together they pushed the most un-likely material into the acoustic repertoire.
