Description
Rossana has melded the essence of blues, country, jazz and pop, to craft her own unique "swampy blues" sound. Rossana's vocal stylings have often been compared to artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Janis Joplin, Etta James, and Norah Jones. This sensual performer has an amazing vocal range, allowing her to take a song from a whisper to a wail leaving her audience with nothing less than a piece of heaven.
Rossanas passion for music and performance has been inspired by her mother, Pepa Sevilla, the spitfire from Seville, who spent many years touring with flamenco great , Jose Greco, and had her American debut at the Greek Theatre.
This LA native has had the good fortune of working with fellow musicians, Richie Hayward of Little Feat, Dave Ralicke of Ozomatli, Steve Distanisloa, currently on tour with David Gilmore, Stan Behrens of Canned Heat,
and The Blind Boys of Alabamas, Michael Jerome.
