Description
His upbeat and dynamic music, deeply embedded in rhythm and blues and influenced by rock and pop, absolutely excites every audience. With a gig of Marc Reece and his band you not only get to hear top class guitar work, but you'll also be part of an exiting and dazzling show, on and off stage !
Marc Reece plays guitar since his childhood. Influenced by some of Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughan he developed his own style of music by performing in various bands. Since 1996 Marc Reece founded his own band and toured successfully in Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany.
Apart from headlinerjobs at big festivals he did television performances for NBC and WDR. Furthermore Marc Reece shared stages with international famous rock- and blues giants as Alvin Lee, The Original Blues Brothers Band, Wishbone Ash, Pat Travers, and played with guitar legends like Tom Principato.
After 'Teach me tonight' and 'Live '99' Marc Reece released the third cd 'Breakin` out'. This album includes the hit 'Spend my life' along with eleven masterpieces of his own creation. Breakin' out shows the real talent and inspiration of Marc Reece and his band and proves that they are true professionals driven by an intense and meticulous drive for virtuosity and perfection.
'I knew I had come across a winner. Reece is a ferocious guitarist, capable singer and backed by a rock solid rythm section of bass and drum.'
(Tom Branson, Blues Rockers review, USA)
