Description
Analog Mind in a Digital World is the theme that Philadelphia based, LATEBLOOM, adopted for their new release, The Hovercraft Diaries. The album was written, recorded, produced and performed by singer/songwriter/producer Lance Davis(SHELTONDAVIS) and guitarist, Chris Horne. LATEBLOOM possesses a raw energy while still remaining pure with a hypnotic sound and positive message.
Recorded from February to July 2006 at their recording studio in Wilmington, DE., they utilized an arsenal of classic gear and were fortunate to have a few good friends lend their unique talents to this ever-unfolding dreamscape.
Influenced by the likes of...David Bowie. . .T-Rex...Bob Dylan. . .Morrissey. . .The Cure . . .Ryan Adams as well as modern day British/English artists, the sound is EuroRock/Underground,
Rootsie /Folk stripped down, with a hint of Psychedelia. Its edgier than singer/ songwriter, and more in depth than your average rockLATEBLOOM sounds like a butterfly dropping an Atomic Bomb.
