Inspired by her personal experience as a mother of a premature baby, singer/songwriter and childrens performer Miss Amy has created a collection of lullabies to share with all whose lives have been touched by a premature birth.
Miss Amys 2006 GRAMMY submitted CD is great for relaxing trips in the car and is the perfect CD for settling little ones (or yourself) at bedtime. Be sure to have an extra copy on hand for your next birthday gift.
Miss Amy performs the title track with renowned pianist Rio Clemente, co-writer of the family musical DOBDINOB (www.dobdinob.com) and composer of the lullaby "My Precious One". Miss Amys My Precious One CD was accepted and submitted to the 49th annual GRAMMY awards for Best Musical Album for Children for 2006.
Miss Amy is a designated fund-raiser for the March of Dimes' campaign, "Saving babies, together". Premature birth is a rising national health issue, now affecting 1 in 8 babies born in the US (that's almost 500,000 babies per year).
