Description
PLOTZ! the neo-traditional, electro gypsy Balkan Dance band is proud to announce the release of, Extraordinary Renditions! This CD features fast-paced, sideways-groovin original compositions and traditional Balkan party tunes that rock! Jake Vossler on guitar, Daniel Rosenboom of trumpet, Orest Balaban on bass, and Austin Wrinkle on drums and percussion play with hair-raising intensity, virtuosic facility, twisted rhythmic complexity, a devilish levity that is truly infectious. Mystical, crude, frenetic, and beautifully strange, PLOTZ! invites you to drink, dance and sweat!
In March of 2005, Jake Vossler (guitars), Daniel Rosenboom (trumpets), Orest Balaban (basses), and Austin Wrinkle (drums), came together to form a unique musical experience. Combining the sounds of Balkan folk music, heavy metal, rock, and contemporary improvisation, PLOTZ! created a style of music-making which is at once intriguing, fresh, electrifying, and absolutely wild! Representing such diverse and broad-ranging backgrounds, magical music was in the making
